YOUTH WRESTLING
Boy and Girls Youth Wrestling: All practices coached by Algoma University wrestling coaches and current varsity wrestlers.
Wrestling is a tough and demanding sport. Wrestling can benefit youth in many ways, including physical fitness, mental resilience and social skills.
Algoma Wrestling Club!
Algoma Wrestling Club is a sanctioned club under Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association (OAWA). All practices are coached by current Algoma University coaching staff as well as current varsity student-athletes. Club members will have access to practices twice a week for a full year at the Algoma University wrestling facility.
A focus will be put on Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD).
AWC competes at both the provincial and national level. All travel costs and OAWA annual membership fee are extra.
